Me!

Hello, my name is Maddie and I’m the new Graduate Trainee at Bradford University Library (which I’m still getting used to saying!).

I finished my MA in American Literature this September at Leeds University, so I have been very lucky to get not only a traineeship, but also a job so close to home! So for the next year I can be found in Leeds for meet-ups and tea.

I am new to the blog-o-sphere, so will try to keep inane wittering to a minimum. Here, I’ll be writing about what I’ve been up to during my training, and hopefully sharing thoughts and experiences with other trainees as I (and indeed we) prepare for life on the other side of the library desk!
